Peach & Huckleberry Crumble Tart


Last week, I took a favorite classic peach as well as huckleberry crumble recipe as well as turned it into a tart.   I dearest really quondam fashioned desserts that are presented inwards a novel way.  I don't bespeak it deconstructed or transformed into a milkshake, but only every bit unproblematic every bit baking it inwards a pretty shape unremarkably does the fob for me.

Crust & Crumble :

2 cups of flour
2/3 loving cup sugar

1 teaspoon salt

Filling :

5 peaches, chunks (skin on or off, I operate out mine on)
1/2 pint of blueberries
2 teaspoons of lemon zest
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1/4 loving cup sugar
2 tablespoons of flour


Crust & Crumble : Preheat oven to 350.  In a nutrient processor of mixer, combine flour, sugars as well as salt.  Mix.  Add diced butter as well as mix/pulse until combined as well as crumbly.  Dump 2/3's of the mix into the Tart Pan.  Reserve the remaining 1/3 to crumble on top.  Press against sides as well as bottom.   Place tart pan on a parchment lined baking sheet.  Bake for xiv minutes.

Filling : In a bowl, combine peaches, blueberries, lemon juice as well as zest, saccharide as well as flour.  Toss to coat. Pour inwards pre-baked tart crust.  Crumble remaining 1/3 of crust mix on exceed of the fruit.  Bake for 30-40 minutes until hot as well as bubbly.
