#WeekdaySupper Fish Tacos with Garlic-Lime Crema...Featuring Land O Lakes ® #SautéExpress® Sauté Starter

Each cube of Sauté Express® Sauté Starter contains butter, olive oil, and all the herbs and spices you need to flavor your recipes! Thanks to this amazing time-saving product, my fish tacos are ready to eat in less than 30 minutes, and they are full of flavor! I used tilapia in my fish tacos, but any mild fish -- or even shrimp -- could also be used. To save maximum time, I flavored my tacos with store-bought pico de gallo and pre-made guacamole. I also added some shredded Mexican cheese blend and a quick garlic-lime crema made with fat-free Greek yogurt. You can use either flour or corn tortillas for these tacos -- but we prefer the sturdiness of the flour tortillas.
Fish Tacos with Garlic-Lime Crema
a Weekend Gourmet Original
Step 1: Make the garlic-lime crema by whisking the following ingredients in a bowl: 1 container fat-free plain Greek yogurt, the juice of one lime, 2 finely minced or grated garlic cloves, 2 thinly sliced green onions, and 1/2 tsp. salt. Whisk well until completely combined and set aside in the fridge until you're ready to assemble the tacos.
Step 2: Add 2 cubes Garlic & Herb Sauté Express® Sauté Starter to a large non-stick skillet over medium heat; heat until it begins to bubble. While you're waiting for that to happen, sprinkle 3/4 lb. tilapia fillets with chili powder on both sides. When the pan is hot, cook the fish for 3-4 minutes per side. It will be seared on the outside and cooked all the way through.
Step 3: Place six flour tortillas in a damp towel and warm in the microwave for 1 minute. Assemble each taco by adding a piece of fish to each tortilla -- I break them into rough chunks first. Top with the following ingredients: pico de gallo, shredded Mexican cheese blend, avocado chunks OR purchased prepared guacamole, and a generous drizzle of the garlic-lime crema.
These fish tacos are full of zesty flavor -- the Sauté Express® Sauté Starter provided a buttery garlic flavor that complimented the chili powder perfectly. The garlic-lime crema was creamy and cooling, and the spicy-tangy pico de gallo provided a pop of color and flavor. Together, each bite was like a fiesta for my mouth! We eat seafood on Fridays during Lent, so this recipe -- and the shrimp variation -- will definitely be featured on our menu several times in the coming weeks!
