My Perfect Pie Collection: Hand Pies...Sweet and Savory

Did you know that Pi Day is coming up on March 14th? Get it...3.14? To celebrate, Foodie by Glam asked some of its contributors to create and share their Perfect Pie Collection. For my handpicked collection, I decided to share a "handful" of scrumptious hand pies...both sweet and savory. I love hand pies for lots of reasons. They're easy to make -- especially if you use frozen puff pastry or refrigerated crust, they're portable, and they're super cute! I have a confession to make: I've never made homemade pie crust. I am hoping to cross it off my culinary bucket list in 2014, so this was a great way to get me thinking about making more pies this year! What is your favorite kind of pies?
