Hamilton Beach 4 Slice Easy Reach™ Toaster Oven #Giveaway...Featuring French Onion Pull-Apart Rolls

I love being a Hamilton Beach Brand Ambassador, because I get a chance to try out lots of fun and helpful kitchen appliances! This month, I was sent a Hamilton Beach 4 Slice Easy Reach™ Toaster Oven oven to try out in my kitchen. I'm not sure how, but I've never owned or used a toaster oven before -- not even when I was in college living in a dorm back in the day! After using this amazing toaster oven the past few weeks, I'm a convert! The Easy Reach™ Toaster Oven fits easily on your kitchen counter and features an innovative roll-top door, which makes it so easy to place food in and take food out of the oven. Even better, the roll-top door comes off for easy cleaning. Hamilton Beach's Easy Reach™ Toaster Oven can fit up to four slices of pizza or bread -- and it offers bake, broil, and toast functions. It also features a 30-minute timer with automatic shutoff, and it includes a bake try and a rack with two positions. 

I love how versatile this toaster oven is! We're a two-person household, so the Easy Reach™ Toaster Oven has been great for reheating slices of pizza to crispy perfection, creating hot toasted sandwiches...and making the amazing recipe for French Onion Pull-Apart Rolls that I'm sharing here today. Flavorful toasted pull-apart loaves are all the rage these days, so I decided to create a version for smaller households that can be made in a toaster oven. If you love French onion soup, you're going to go crazy for these cheesy onion-infused sourdough rolls!

French Onion Pull-Apart Rolls

Ingredients (makes four rolls):

• 4 sourdough dinner rolls
• 1 stick salted butter
• 2 tbs. onion soup mix
• 1 tsp. granulated garlic
• 1 tbs. chopped parsley
• 3/4 cup grated Gruyere cheese
• 1 tbs. chopped thyme
• Salt and cracked black pepper to taste

Directions:

Step 1: Preheat toaster oven to 375 for 10 minutes, until the oven is hot. While the toaster oven is heating, add the butter, onion soup mix, garlic, and parsley to a bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, until the butter is melted. Stir well to combine all ingredients and set aside.

Step 2: Slice the sourdough rolls and across into rows, then spread the cuts slightly apart. Carefully spoon the butter mixture into each cut, making sure the entire roll has some of the butter mixture. Some of the onions and herbs from the butter mixture should be on top of each roll. Place the rolls on the toaster oven's baking sheet.

Step 3: Add 1/4 cup of the Gruyere cheese to each roll, placing some inside the cuts on the roll and mounding some of the cheese on top. Sprinkle some of the chopped thyme on top of each roll, then top with salt and cracked black pepper. Place the baking sheet inside of the toaster oven.

Step 4: Set the timer on the toaster oven for 10 minutes and bake the rolls. The rolls will be toasted and golden brown, and the cheese will be melted inside the rolls and on top.

These cheesy rolls are positively addictive...if you close your eyes, you'll swear you're tasting a bowl of French onion soup. The nutty Gruyere cheese and herbal thyme pair perfectly with the beefy onion-flavored butter. These rolls are a perfect addition to a main dish salad or grilled meats -- and two of them makes a perfect light lunch. Trust me...you need to try these cheesy pull-apart rolls ASAP!
