Summer Lately
It’s been a month! My apologies for not updating you with photos earlier in July. Between Franklin growing up before my eyes, the kitchen remodel finally coming to life, getting settled into our new home, visitors, picnics, BBQs, and baking… life’s kept me away from the camera!
But last weekend in particular was very special. We went to a family reunion for Kevin’s side of the family. The reunion took place at his late grandfather’s farm, where my mother-in-law grew up. It was the last time the family would all be there together before it is passed onto another family. I made sure to snap as many pictures as I could, so we could all treasure this space forever.
Kevin’s cousin made the most unbelievable banana cake with cream cheese frosting. It was by far one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. I got the recipe from her and will share it on my food blog soon. I can’t WAIT to remake it.
Back at home, the pups keep me entertained with their daily weirdness. Frank’s 30 lbs now!
