I’ve been having a lot of fun with Lightroom presets lately. Presets are filters you can place on your photos when you are editing. When I edit food photography for my business, I make my own presets based on the lighting in my house and the food I’m shooting. That way I can set the preset to all of the photos I took in that particular photoshoot. I like my food images to be clear, bright, and colorful. But with fun photography like this, I love playing around with creative presets– just like the filters you see on Instagram. They usually apply a softer look to images, which isn’t really something I want with my food blog photography.

I bought and downloaded presets from Really Nice Images. There are free presets out there too, just give it a quick google search. Hope your summer off to a fabulous start!
