Spring Fever
We hit that sweet spot in April when it’s just starting to warm up. Nothing in this world feels better than rolling the car windows down and finally breaking out that outdoor furniture on the front porch! Pair this with all the cleaning out I’ve been doing for our upcoming move… life feels refreshed. 🙂
I’ve been shooting nonstop with my new lens: the canon 24-70mm f/2.8. I really like it for real life photography. But it’s awesome for food too… especially when you have an entire “scene” you want to capture. But I just love the zoom when I’m out and about shooting nature, travel, dogs, people, etc. And the bokeh with a larger aperture (like down to f/2.8) is gorgeous.
Lots happening right now: I just got back from Minnesota where I visited with friends and attended a photography workshop. Our friends there just got a cockapoo puppy, Cooper.
Look at him! I resisted every single urge to take him home with me.
Earlier this month, we visited some friends down in DC, did some exploring, and then spent some quiet time at our new house, slowly moving things in.
Shot with my Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L and Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L lens.
Q: What have you been up to so far this month?
