Vermont Weekend, Part 1
Sharing some photos from our incredibly relaxing and much-needed vacation up in Vermont! Kevin and I (and Jude!) spent a long weekend there with our good friends and their Labradoodle, Bogey. Went skiing, played with the pups, watched the snow fall, sipped wine, played cards, relaxed by the fire, cooked, snacked, and everything in between. It was picture perfect.
Kevin got me the weekend getaway for Christmas. I’ve been wanting to take a weekend vacation with Jude for awhile since I didn’t get to spend too much time with him in the Fall when I was on my book tour. (Dog moms, you get me.) We stayed at Mountain Top Inn & Resort, a short drive from Killington Mountain where we went skiing and snowboarding. Our friends had been there before and recommended we go because it’s a total must-see, must-experience, complete heaven on earth. Especially in the icy cold winter.
We stayed in a cottage not far from the lodge and spa. The massage and sauna, especially on a frigid snowy day, were epic! I’d go back just for a day at the spa again. And the breathtaking scenery.
