Spicy Slow Cooker Plum Pork

Guys, my slow cooker cookbook but that book is full of solid slow cooker recipes as well as great tips and lessons to t Spicy Slow Cooker Plum Pork

k comes out in a month. I still can’t believe that I even did that! If you haven’t preordered it yet, you should. I might be a little biased, but that book is full of solid slow cooker recipes as well as great tips and lessons to teach you how to make the most of your slow cooker. Each recipe even has a full color photo. Ya, you want that.

I figured I should throw some slow cooker love your way with another delicious and easy slow cooker recipe. This recipe, like many of my recipes, was inspired by a sale on plums. It’s summer and that means stone fruit season so of course plums are on sale. The Chinese know what they are doing when it comes to plum sauce, so I gave it a little Chinese flair with soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Throw in some red pepper flakes for some heat, and you have yourself a deliciously sweet and spicy pork that comes together with very little work on your part. And the smell that will fill your house on this one is pretty incredible!
