Last week, Mrs. Blandings directed her readers to Steve Rogers' studio infinite inward the West Bottoms of Kansas City, Prize Antiques.  He is opening a "Pop-up-Shop" on the Country Club Plaza for the Holidays (opening Oct. 29th).  So, similar a diligent follower, I made an engagement amongst Steve and, wow, am I glad I did...

Above : a zinc pedestal table.  I mean value this would hold out the perfect oversized object inward my living room.

Steve's sense of savor is a bit indescribable and lovely - a mix of rustic withal refined European pieces, industrial objects, and primitive treasures.  I dearest this wall of portraits.  Completely DIY-able.    

Above : This is ane of my favorite pieces - of flat it was the virtually pricey inward the studio (I'm cursed amongst expert taste).  It is a French library cabinet stocked amongst leather books.  Although this item item was a footling out my cost range, I constitute several other bang-up pieces that were VERY reasonably priced... similar the drape below. 

Hands off, Readers!  I've got my view develop of this one.  I'm thinking it would await bang-up inward my really empty dining room.  Just the charming chemical part I've been looking for!
