Cherry Almond Pound Cake | May Twenty-Four Hr Catamenia Gift

This season combination of Cherry in addition to Almond was inspired past times our Spring trip to Washington DC's Cherry Blossom Festival a brace of years ago. Cherry Almond Pound Cake
makes 1 medium loaf size cake
1 stick of butter, softened
1 loving cup granulated sugar
ii eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 loving cup milk
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 loving cup of dried cherries
.......
ii tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon of almond extract
1 1/2 loving cup of powdered saccharide
Preheat oven to 350.
In a mixer fitted amongst the paddle attachment. Cream together butter in addition to saccharide for iii minutes. Add eggs. In a dissever bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda in addition to salt. In unopen to other dissever bowl, combine milk in addition to extract. Add one-half of the moisture ingredients to the butter saccharide mixture, mix for five seconds, hence add together one-half of the dry out in addition to mix for five seconds. Repeat amongst 2nd half, ending amongst dry out ingredients. Fold inwards dried cherries. Pour batter into loaf pan - I similar to business mine amongst parchment paper. Bake for 35-40 minutes until a cake tester comes out clean.
For glaze, mix together powdered sugar, milk in addition to almond extract until smooth. Pour over slightly warm cake.
