Happy Anniversary
A year ago today I married Kevin and started the adventure of a lifetime. I never imagined sharing a life so full of contentment with another person. We’re a team. Two lives comforting, respecting, loving, praying, supporting, sharing, encouraging, walking, talking, balancing, confiding, calming, praising, and interweaving.
I was looking back at our wedding photos this past week. Remembering that sunny, 75-degree day in September. For the first time I noticed that there was a misspell on our dinner menu cards. (“Bindled” instead of “bundled” green beans.) At first surprised to find an error, I quickly realized how insignificant the little things are when you are about to embark on the greatest chapter of your life. I didn’t notice this when reviewing the menu cards before printing, I didn’t notice it on our wedding day, and I didn’t notice it when I first viewed our wedding photos.
Just goes to show that all the small pieces (flowers! menus! make-up! gifts! place settings! songs! name cards! hair! cake cutter!) that make up your wedding day hold NOTHING compared to the big piece: marriage.
Happy Anniversary Kevin. ♥
