Yep. Maple Syrup and Cinnamon infused Banana Cake. I LOVE the smell of this particular banana cake floating around the house! My kitchen was heaven to be IN and around. And with the subtle cinnamon and maple syrup aromas? OH MY GOSH!
Not to be confused with Banana Bread…this is fluffy cake to the extreme. Melt in your mouth fluffy, with the perfect sweetness and flavours of maple syrup and cinnamon!
Ok, so shoot me. I know I’m forever baking and making banana stuff. Truth is, not only do I LOVE everything banana-er-ish…I seem to have a slight problem over buying them, so I have no choice than to make banana-et-ish stuff. So that’s my excuse.
Cutting into this cake I was smiling like Nigella Lawson. Or more like a Minion. Minions love Bananas. I love Bananas. Therefore, I am a minion.
If you try this one…just get ready to fight your family or friends over a slice. Because all I got was half a slice. Not counting all the broken bits…because they don’t count. Am I right?
I LOVE when cake is still warm it falls apart. Any excuse to eat the broken parts. I don’t know why, but they always seem to taste the BEST…
